Is Wilderness road Campground open?
Electrical hookups (20-, 30-, or 50-amp) are available at 41 sites, and these sites can accommodate camping rigs up to 50 feet long. Group sites are also available. The campground is open year-round, with limited campsites open during the winter season (mid-November to mid-March).

Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is a pet friendly park! Pets are welcome but must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times while in the park. T and I drove from the visitors center up the mountain, a four-mile road to the Pinnacle, making three stops at trailheads along the way. It is a beautiful drive and we hardly encountered any traffic in late May.
