  • Plain unsalted matzo.
  • Plain unsalted popcorn.

What foods have radioactive iodine?

For 2 hours before and after your dose, do not eat any solid foods or drink anything but water. You may have breakfast before you come to the hospital, if it is more than 2 hours before your I131 dose. Water is OK to drink. We encourage you to drink plenty of water to help flush the radiation from your body.
