Guests and employees of Starved Rock Lodge are no longer required to wear a mask. Please be respectful of anyone who chooses to wear a mask for their own protection. On February 28, 2022, Governor Pritzker signed Executive Order 2022-06 lifting the mask requirement in most indoor settings.

A: There is no entrance fee to enter the park or for parking. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  4. The vast majority of trails are not stroller or wheelchair accessible.

The Le Rocher Gift Shop is quite special and unique because it is operated and owned by the Starved Rock Foundation which is the non for profit friends group of the state park.

No Swimming in park waterfalls, creeks, or the Illinois River. Rock Climbing/rappelling is not allowed anywhere in the park. Bicycles, scooters, skates, and skateboards are not allowed on the trails at Starved Rock State Park. Drones are not allowed at either park.
