What is the difference between A2 Key and A2 Key for schools?
A2 Key for Schools is an elementary level qualification for basic, everyday written and spoken English. The exam follows the same format and level as A2 Key; the only difference is that the treatment and topics have been targeted at the interests and experiences or school-aged learners.
Is Ket and key the same?
Cambridge English: Key for Schools (KETfS) is at the same level as Cambridge English: Key (KET) and leads to exactly the same internationally accepted certificate. The only difference is that the exam content is targeted at the interests and experiences of schoolchildren.
How speaking bands are calculated?
The speaking section is awarded a score based on the performance of four criteria: fluency and coherence, lexical resources, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation. The speaking band score is awarded based on these four criteria and each of the criteria is weighted equally.
