Is FAU food good?
FAU’s Atlantic Dining Hall fails to go beyond mediocre food quality and service, providing a less than satisfactory experience. It’s like it wants to be hated. FAU’s Atlantic Dining Hall, or more informally, the caf, is notorious for its less-than-stellar food, and it isn’t ashamed.

How do I change my meal plan at FAU?

Does FAU require a meal plan?
Whether you are a campus resident, commuter student, faculty or staff, a meal plan exists to suit your needs. It is mandatory to have a Campus Meal Plan. Commuter or University Apartment Students are not required, but certainly welcome to purchase a Campus Meal Plan.
Is FAU gym free for students?
Students qualify for this access by paying the required activity and service fees as part of their tuition. Graduating student’s access will stop as the last day of the semester. FAU students taking a single semester off from their studies are welcome to purchase a Campus Recreation Membership.
Does FAU have a pool?
The FAU Aquatic Center features an Olympic-sized meter pool and is home to FAU’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs. The pool has hosted the National Independent Collegiate Conference Championships and for years has served as the winter training facility for hundreds of collegiate swimmers.
Can the public use FAU library?
The general public is welcome to enter our buildings, use library materials without hindrance, and ask reference questions. We do, however, reserve the right to limit service to those who are not students, faculty, or affiliates of Florida Atlantic University. The use of our library is a privilege to be appreciated.
Can you eat in the FAU library?
Please consume snack food and drink only in library study areas. For the purpose of this policy, food such as chips, nuts, pretzels are considered snack food; pizza, burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, are not.) Drinks are allowed ONLY in covered, sturdy spill-proof containers. Clean up spills.
