Lullingstone Loop – 4 miles (6.4km) You will pass Lullingstone Roman Villa and Lullingstone Castle as you take in magnificent views of the Darent Valley. Meet some of the park’s most spectacular trees including the many chestnuts and hornbeam, and some of the most notable oak trees in England.

Who built Ightham Mote?
The first known owner of Ightham Mote is Isolde Inge (1330-1360), who may be responsible for building the oldest surviving part of the house. It was the next owner, Sir Thomas Cawne (d. 1374) who built the basis of the house we see today.
