How does BU Housing selection work?

Freshmen and transfer students are assigned rooms after they complete their New Student Housing Application. Continuing students are assigned time slots for room selection based on their class year by seniority.

Where do most sophomores live at BU?

The 26-floor north tower houses juniors and seniors in an apartment-style setting while the 19-story south tower is home to sophomores, juniors, and seniors, in a suite-style setting. Freshmen and transfer students are not eligible to live in the Student Village residences during their first year.
