How do you get serana to pick things up?
If you look at her feet and hold down the select button for a few seconds, then let go, it will give you the odd, x-shaped cursor that you get when you ask followers to do something. You can then move to the item/container and press the select button again.
Why can’t I make serana follow me?
You need to either talk to her and tell her to follow, or continue with the quest and when it finishes, then you can get her back again.
Did the Dawnstar chest get patched?
Anyone know if the dawnstar chest was patched? yea same here. It is caused by “Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch”. You can always start a new game and go raid the chest before installing USSEP.
Can you command serana?
You can’t cure Serana until after Kindred Judgement. This is also around the time that some of the other follower options become available. I think we are not understanding each other here bro.

- Find a save were you still had Serana.
- Open console and click on her.
- Copy the code/refid that comes up.
- Load the save you made before step 1.
- Use the “prid XXXXX” command to select Serana.
- Use the “moveto player XXXXXX” command to move her to you.
