Is courser of Kruphix banned in Commander?

In case many of you haven’t heard the news yet but Prophet of Kruphix has been banned from Commander. I for one think this is an extremely good decision and enables those playing against any U/G decks to be healthier gameplay.

Can courser of Kruphix rules?

Courser of Kruphix doesn’t change when you can play lands. You can do so only during your main phase when you have priority and the stack is empty. Playing a land from the top of your library counts as your land play for the turn.

Will prophet of Kruphix ever be unbanned?

Prophet of Kruphix will almost certainly never be unbanned because the Rules Committee is extremely reluctant to unban anything.

Why is Kruphix courser good?

Courser of Kruphix is cheaper, more resilient to removal, and offers us a predictably consistent play pattern. Courser provides slow, incremental card advantage on a fair, defensive body. They also interact favorably with library manipulation, but cannot accelerate your mana development.

Is Seedborn Muse banned in EDH?

Seedborn muse is not banned and has a more powerful untap effect. Combined with giving creatures flash broke it.

Can I play more than one land with courser of Kruphix?

With Courser, you can play your single land per turn from the top of your library. Courser gives you no additional lands.

Do additional land cards stack?

Each effect that lets you play “additional” lands is cumulative. Therefore, with the presence of all three effects you mention, you can play up to five additional lands that turn (assuming it’s your turn) (C.R. 305.2; see also C.R. 305.2a).

Why is Sylvan primordial banned?

Because it’s incredibly warping. You get insane value out it, and if you’re green there’s no way you’re going to play without it. It is also decent ramp stapled onto something that can hose all your opponents in one shot.

Why is Primeval Titan banned?

Primeval Titan was banned because fighting over who gets to get land combos and way more mana was tiring. Griselbrand was banned for the same reasons he’s currently played in Legacy and Modern combo decks. Sundering Titan was banned for the same reasons Worldfire was.
